Church Lane is scheduled for resurfacing between the period of Monday 5th June until Tuesday 4th July between the hours of 6:00-17:00, or until completion of the resurfacing. The proposed dates for the road closure are 26th & 27th June with the roadworks to be active from 9:15-15:00 to minimise disruption to residents & local businesses. However these are subject to change.
An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure is Preston Road – Chorley Lane and vice versa.
