Highways England will be carrying out scheduled maintenance on the following motorways:
- M6 – Junctions 25 – 28 (northbound and southbound carriageways and slip roads)
Work is scheduled to begin 30th June 2017 & end 26th October 2017 during the hours of 8pm-5am (continues until 7am Saturdays & Sundays). - M61 – Junctions 2 – 9 (northbound and southbound carriageways and slip roads)
Work is scheduled to begin 30th June 2017 & end 31st August 2017 during the hours of 8pm-5am (continues until 7am Saturdays & Sundays).
The maintenance being carried out will be resurfacing, replacement of road markings and road studs, barrier, drainage, survey works and other maintenance works.
During these time periods there will be 50mph speed restrictions on certain sections & road closures on others. Please click on the links below for more details.
