Pincock Street will be closed from its boundary with Riverdale for 50 metres in an easterly direction between 8:00am until 6:00pm from Monday 21st August 2023 until Friday 25th August 2023.
The temporary closures are to allow water maintenance works to be carried out by Network Plus on behalf of United Utilities.
No diversion route is possible, however access will be maintained for residents wherever possible.
Part of Delph Lane will be closed up to the boundary of The Stables between 9:00am until 5:00pm from Monday 7th August 2023 until Tuesday 15th August 2023.
The temporary closures are to allow new cable installation works to be carried out by Network Plus on behalf of Electricity Northwest.
No diversion route is possible as this is a no through road, however access will be maintained for residents wherever possible.
Since 5th March 2022, the “Chorley & District Support for Ukraine” group has been sifting and sorting through donations at the Chorley Council owned ‘Ukraine Unit’ near Market Walk, in Chorley town centre (PR7 1FD).
The unit is open Wednesdays 2-4pm and Saturdays 10am-12 for people to drop of all kinds of donations. The group has a range of appeals and is encouraging everyone to consider donating anything – whether as an individual, a business or even a collection gathered by residents of a street or community group.

Church Lane between Preston Road & Charter Lane will be closed between 9:30am until 3:30pm from Tuesday 14th February 2023 until Thursday 16th February 2023.

Chorley Council conduct regular road sweeping in the village. Often parts of roads cannot be swept due to parked cars or other obstructions. To support residents we’ve obtained the next dates this is scheduled & the cycle this is conducted so you can ensure the road outside your house is clear if required.
Charnock Richard’s main roads will be next swept on Tuesday 3/01/23 and on a 10 week cycle from this date.
Charnock Richard’s side roads will be next swept on Monday 09/01/23 and on a 12 week cycle from this date.
