The road at the railway bridge on German Lane, Charnock Richard will be closed in both directions from 9am until 3pm on Sunday 25th October 2020. A diversion route is not available in this location. The temporary closure is to allow Network Rail to undertake detailed examination of the bridge works to be carried out.

Pedestrian access is prohibited on a public footpath between Parker’s i’ th’ Fields and Dob Brow from 20th August 2020 for 6 months. The closure is necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public. The order does not apply to residents who require access, emergency services or to those undertaking any necessary works.
